Thanks for the offer, I use Auction Sentry for my sniping. Usually set my first bid for about 5 seconds before the end of the auction, at what I'm willing to pay. Usually unless they have already bid more than I'm willing to pay, they never get a chance to increase their low bid.

The only other good way to get stuff is to find it before anyone else and "buy it now".

And of course, getting the person to cancel the auction and sell you the item on the side...
