It was rougher than I expected. The dentist, bless her heart, tried to save that one tooth that broke off at the gumline. so she had to cut into my upper palate. No kidding, she showed me in the mirror my sinus cavity. Anyways, she couldn't save that tooth because the fracture went so far down the root so she ended up pulling out the remainder of the tooth. She even let me keep it. I am thinking of putting as a charm or something like that. I have some pictures. Right after she stitched me up (10 or so stitches) she said, ok you have 1 hour to get to burger king and stuff yourself and eat before the novacaine wears off. Once it does you won't feel up to eating for the next 3 days. Once you are done eating get to the pharmacy and pick up your percocet. I ate and right afterwards I picked up my percocet. as I was driving home the novacaine wore off and I felt like somebody knocked me in the face with a baseball bat. I missed work for the rest of the week. Better now though. But during the first two days I was so screwed up I had my mom come up. You know I was in a lot of pain if I allowed the queen mother of nagging come around. Percocet and a beer is awesome.
