excellent pictures Bill.
You'll have to give me a lesson on posting pics.
I think you should have got Ed to stand still with the bird on his head and picked it off with you're powerhead and added it to you're cooler!

Dude,
How big were those fish? I think I have the largest snapper on the board with 22# and I will post the photos when I get them developed. But I think your just blew mine out of the water.

Nice! That's the biggest scamp I've ever seen shot.

I think you are safe Hector. Pretty sure that is not a 22# snapper.

Looks like a twenty pounder, though. That would be my guess. Any takers?

Ahem,,I believe Ed also shot a 26# this spring around the same time Paul shot his monsta cobia.NE Fla has some bigass Snappa ,scamp, lobsta and mangos. Our groupa don't usually run over 30# or so but we do get some large ones Off---shore.Our hogfish run small usually to and way far between.

i don't know for sure, the batteries died on my digital scales. i was guessing lower twenties. does anybody recommend a good set of hand scales that actually work and keep working and are accurate. it wasn't any record breaker but it was my personnal best red.

I dove wth ed on that dive and weighed the snap on my scale. It was 26lbs and Paul was also there.
I also talked to Ed today and he said that the snapper that seabeast got on sunday was almost as big as his 26lb .
I've never shot one as big as either one.But maybe I'll see one tomorow!

I've never shot one as big as either one.But maybe I'll see one tomorow! That wouldn't shock me if it was 24 - 26. It's a hell of a big snapper, with a big "beer belly" to boot.
