Spearfishing Magazine needs quality photos
for the 2004 Spearfishing Magazine Calendar.
Photo criteria:
*Horizontal shots are best. 300 dpi and 8.5 x 11 if digital.
Or good quality glossy prints.
*Great vertical shots may share a page.
*Underwater shots are best. (Keep an U/W disposable camera or
better on hand, and get creative.)
*On water shots are next best.
*Quality fish, not quantity.
*Colorful photogenic species a plus.
*Photos with personality.
*Divers in action.
*New photos. Nothing previously published.
*Scuba & freediving. Spearguns and diving gear can be good.
*Watch the background, no fish in coolers, trucks, fishing poles,
dumpsters... get the idea?
*No stiff-arming size enhancement. Keep it natural.
*Provide photo information: diver's name, fish weight & where
taken.
No we don't pay... but we may make you famous!
Photos not used for the 2004 Calendar may be placed in the SFM Photo Gallery or on the SFM website. www.spearfishingmagazine.com
