what do you guys shoot in lake murray? trout?

You can shoot non game fish and some game fish. This differs in the time of year and which lake you are in. Get the book from the dep of wildlife.

I am not sure about Steve but x ring will shoot anything that’s legal. He is a good shot so the perch better look out. :rolleyes:

I missed a few, but shot a small buffalo, Chad shot a nice carp and could not get a shot on a big blue catfish. just got back from the lake, and damn I am tired. I will try to get a pic and story up later his week.

Chad said that the carp was spear and release. Is this a new technique? :)
Just when I was going to share the super secret carp recipe too. Oh well, you can go back and kill him next weekend.

It was pretty funny, the spear did not penitrate the carp. It just nocked it out. He bear hugged it and got it on the stringer. I missed the bear hug part, or I probably would have lost my reg due to uncontrollable laughing.
