Lookin for a good time!

Me an and a couple of buddies are looking for a great spearfishing trip Jan 1- Jan 8 of this comming year. Does any buddy have a great place to go and contacts for us to set something up? Preferably out of the US and somewhere with warm water that time of year.

I know that cabo is near La Paz in the sea of cortez. How is the water and diving that time of year. I spoke with a charter down there and he stated that the north winds can be faily bad that time of year and that I would be comming down at my own risk. I was considering it until I heard that. Just wondering if you had any additional informaion. He may just have been crazy.
