went out to ledge off sarasota in about 50', vis was sweet, seas were about 1'. shot my first gag which was a 27". first shot is not a killl, goes right behind his head just behind the gills and he goes under the ledge, i grab the spear thats sticking out and shit, no fish on the end. i look under and see his tail going into some sort of tunnel into the ledge. so i continue to swim on and about 75' farther down the ledge the is a similiar gag sitting on bottom just outside of the ledge, so i fire and hit him. i swim up to him and it is the same one with the spear in almost the same place and he is still not dead. break out the knife and continue my assualt until it is dead. already had a couple decent hogs and i am about out of air from all my excitement so i head up. after this my buddys electronics had a meltdown so we headed in. also i saw a couple of stone crab claws on the bottom. do you guys ever get them offshore? I have been doing pretty good inshore, it seems like a good year, i got one claw sat. in bradenton that weighed a pound by itself!!!
