31% Dixie. You are definitely a Yankee. I may live 50 miles from the southern most city, but I definitely grew up in northern indiana in the country (i've been coon huntin & ruffed houses). i like to think we share some of the priorities of "you all" southerners;) like beer drinking, hard work, & respect for your elders among others.

Bill McIntyre

36% Dixie.
Born and raised in Florida, but on the coast rather than down the middle. I bet that mattered, at least back then before Disneyland. The coasts were dominated by yankee transplants, while the center was where the crackers still ruled. Went to college in Alabama, where they would ask what part of the "nawth" I was from.
When I'd go back home to Florida in the summer, they'd say I sounded like a southerner again, and when I'd go back to Auburn in the fall, they would say I sounded more like a yankee again. I guess I'm easily influenced.
Edit- the more I think about this, the more I wonder about the score. After all, my grandparents raised me until the 9th grade, and they came from Savannah, as did my father as a young boy. Maybe its just that I've lived all over the country ever since I left college.

The first thing that came to mind when I read the title of this thread was the guy in the French Quarter who dismembered his girlfriend then jumped off of the roof of a nearby hotel.
The suicide note directed the police to his appartment where they found the girlfriends head in a pot on the stove, cooking with potatoes and carrots and her arms and legs being roasted in the oven.
You could tell that he was a yankee. If he was a coon ass her head would have been simmering in a roux with a side of rice.
