That didn't take long.

From the prize table straight to Ebay!!

I probably would have done the same thing!

From the shark shield website
Scientific tests conducted on a wide variety of sharks (including Great whites, Mako's, Bulls, Tigers, and hammerhead's) indicate that sharks are repelled by the field at an average distance of 4-5 meters (13 – 16 feet) from the wearer.
Makes you wonder what the "scientific test" was. "Hey Joe, hold this bloody fish and jump in that shark tank!"

I had some guy from Africa email me last night. He is offering me $300 for it, and wants me to overnight it to him. He says sharks are a huge problem over there. Sounds good to me. You guys like my description???I had to do some creative writing.

Make him pay $350, and he pays shipping, of course.

Take into account the Paypal fees for accepting $300. You may want to ask for more to cover those fees.

I thought about picking that up at the prize table. I knew what
would happen. I would never take the time to put it on
and wear it. Wasn't expecting to be up there quite that soon :)
Felt like a deer in the headlights... what to pick! I just went
with the good old spearfishing specialties gun. I could have
Picked a more exp$$ prize but needed a backup gun anyway.

To quote my bro, it probably works and scares sharks off - and every other fish you might possibly want to shoot!

I think Spear One put it well, it's a solution for a problem that doesn't exist.

I relisted seastalkers shark shield a couple days ago since I could relist for free. My current high bidder, wehse@lucent.com, bought something on ebay from spearchucker a month ago...wierd:eek:

After spending the 24 hours with Seastalker in the Middle Grounds, I wonder if he'll rethink selling it. :D We were friggen harrased all day by sharks.

Scott you know me to well....I actually got the thing out and read up on it a little after dealing with sharks on 5-8 drops. I still don't believe that the same field the is suppose to deter sharks won't have the same effect on the fish not to mention having that antennae hanging from you getting hung on the reef.......

Or maybe it does work:confused: Anyone remotely interested can get it cheap, an hour left and it is @ $205.
