While we're on the subject of baseball....

In my opinion, Barry Bonds is the greatest and most feared player to ever put on a uniform, and there is not even a close second. They actually walk this guy intentionally in the FIRST inning last night with runners at first and third and ONE out. I have never seen that, and I think McCarver was right when he said that that was probably a first in World Series History.

Intenionally putting two runners in scoring position with less than two outs, that's how good this guy is. I think if the bases were loaded, they'd intentionally walk home a run (sure beats the 4 that would score if you pitch to him).

Bonds would hit 90 home runs a season if he was actually pitched to. How many walks did he have this year? It was off the chart.

I knew that was coming, just thought it might be the second or third reply.

I have my suspicions as well, and if he is, then it seriously taints everything he has done. Remember in the early 90s when he was on the Pirates, how thin he looked up at the plate? He was a great player then, but now he is a one man wrecking ball.

a base hit scores a run no matter how you look at it. but loading the bases makes a possibility for 2 runs. i didnt see the game, so i cant really say much more than that. just going on my experience.
