Maui spearing in August

It looks like I'll be spending 2 weeks in August on Maui, although I don't know exactly where. Never been to Hawaii before so I hope to get lots of spearing in. Whats happening in the spearfishing world in August (reef and bluewater). I've only hunted Northern California before so the clear water will be a different kind of challenge for me. I know it's 9 months away but I just found out and I'm stoked! :thumps:
