Bragging on my wife

Hi,

I just became a member. Glad to have found a board where my spearfishing posts won't generate replies like "You Monster!" or "How could you?" or the dreaded "Why don't you leave only bubbles?"

Here's a pic of mostly my wife's haul (2 dives). It was her first outing with a JBL Woody 38 special that I got her for her birthday. She's 5' 3" and couldn't pull the stock 16" bands, so I put 18" bands on for her. Since her gun is "de-powered", she has to get pretty close to her target or all she sees is fish shit and scales after the shot.

The grouper is just legal (22.5") and the red snapper is only about 20", but the trigger near the top of the pic is darn near as big as I've seen around Destin.

Very nice! I saw one of the biggest triggers I have seen a couple of weeks ago. Probably about the size of that one on the top.

By the way, I forgot to mention, I recommend a visit to Stone's internet site. He has a link to it in his signature. He has some very cool links and graphs about diving (nitrox v. air, etc.). I have referred to it in the past, and have it bookmarked.
