well, another disappointing and discouraging day in Palos Verdes. I met up with jacob, new guy to spearfishing, who contacted me from this board. we got in the water, low tide, just after dawn and worked the shallow side of the kelp. AS USUAL the water was very cloudy/milky and vis was maybe 6ft at best. i worked the area slow, paying extra attention below me hoping to catch some glimpes...but no such luck. I could barely make out the Girabaldi's 4 feet below me. I need to find a new place that has some decent visibility. Palos Verdes is definately not the place to be right now.
It was good to fish with you today jacob. i hope to dive again with you soon.
sask
PS- there was NO baitfish, none, zero, zip in the water today.. very weird becaus ethat place is normally loaded with them.
