Went out to SCI. Left H.B. at 4:00 got out there quick very easy crossing. Hit a front side spot for nothing then moved around to the east end around China Point. Within minutes after hitting the water about 10 15lb yellows comes by fast. Got a bad shot and missed. My brother a few minutes later saw a single fish and got a good shot but lost it in the kelp. Saw one school or Seabass about 10 fish to 25-30 lbs but were gone in a second. Moved around a bit but only saw fish at one spot. Water was green but with decent visability. Tons of bait and it should start to really get going soon. Ride in was quick also. Thought about another dive at Catalina but passed and went in. Good day on the water. It sure beats the walk at P.V.
