I've got a 48" Biller which I've modified a little bit by attaching a small brass cleat to the bottom so I can freeshaft or lineshaft with just a twist of the line around the cleat.
Well I just bought the speed load kit for the Sea Hornet (Spearfishing Specialties) and want to install it tonight so it's ready for this weekend (PRAYING for light winds!!!).
Anyways....my question is how should I go about filling in/protecting the holes I've made in the gun from the brass cleat?
I was thinking just some wood puddy and a epoxy sealant of some kind? Regular clear silicone and just fill the holes?
Any opinions or ideas will be greatly appreciated!!
