I was on the spearfishing.com page, and these guys were braggin about this grouper taken in the Keys, Im still ****in giggling like a schoolgirl......ISN'T THIS A SMALL JEWFISH!!?? ROFLMAO! They stated that it was shot in "94, but I was thinking they were protected back then too. Just thought it was funny as hell, so I thought I would share

I thought it was 91' but I guess I was wrong.

On February 1, 1990, Florida's Marine Fisheries Commission declared jewfish a protected species and prohibited any take or sale.
