accident @ Homosassa

I stayed Sat and Sun at MacRaes Lodge in Homosassa for a family reunion. Sat mid morning the Coast Guard brought some dude in that fell off the bow of the boat he was in and was hit by the prop. They were puttin' serious bandages on his lower leg/ankle area when they got to the ramp. Wondered if anyone heard the local news there or knows anything about it. It caused quite a crowd at the ramp...not much happens around there:D

Thats the same time that we came back in . We get to the ramp and the FWC & CG are there I'am thinking I hope my fishing LIC. is up to date ????

hey dlock.we saw the pontoon boat sat afternoon when we came in from spearfishing.the coastguard and the marine patroll were giving the operator of the boat a sobriety test.if you were at mcraes i,m suprised you didnt see us when we came in from a day of shootin,we launched at riverhaven right across the river from mcraes...dave

I was there watching them take the dude out of the CG boat at the ramp. Then they had that pontoon boat and the people on it tied up for a long time. I can't believe we were all right there and I didn't see your boat. Doesn't it say "Dabull Trouble"on the side? I believe I saw it in one of your photo's. Is Riverhaven between the crab house and MacRaes? We went over there for some blue crab that night:p

hey dlock.riverhaven is across the river from mcraes,yes the boat does have dabulltrouble on the sides.we sat there for a while waiting for them to finish with the pontoon boat
