New posts problem

I've never been able to tell exactly what caused a thread to finally leave what I would see when I click on "New Posts." Some times, it seems like I can leave the board for quite a while and come back, click New Posts, and I'll still see threads that have no new posts since the last time. Other times they seem to get out of New Posts quicker, but still they always stayed for a while.

In the last couple of days, something seems to have changed. If I click on a post and read it and then click New Posts again, some of he threads that were there a minute ago are no longer listed, even though I haven't read them. And at least a couple of times, I'm pretty sure that the next post to a thread I'd been following never showed up in New Posts at all. I had to scroll down through all the forums in the front page to find it.

I hope this was clear enough so that you understand what I'm saying.

Has anyone else noticed this? Has something changed with server settings or something?

It has something to do with cookies expiring. It happens to me all the time. If you walk away and come back and hit new posts the new posts since the last time should be listed. The old ones should disappear.

I am just used to it working the way you described. I don't know how to explain it that well.

I am still having problems with my Photos, I can't Upload any new ones to my album. Tony is working on that. There is an issue when he switched from Scott's server to his own.
