NJ Dive Report - June 9th and 10th

Did some near shore dives off of Deal and Long Branch, NJ with Bruce S., Tony C. and George V. Conditions were good and we collectively speared big blacks, fluke, a striper and black sea bass. Hope to be able to do it all again soon.

I was out on the 17th ...in the barnagat inlet ..Was my first time in 2years and it felt great...Plugged a nice blacky ...saw a couple stripers but they looked a little small...and were gone pretty quick.

Used my jet ski as my personal dive platform...I should be back out this weekend ...So if anyone sees a honda aquatrax floating alone ...stop by and say whats up..

Had a good time and we did well with an assortment of fish.We all lost striper for one reason or another.Hope to spear barnegat and cape may sometime this year.Heard the vis has held up and is still good but temp has dropped back into the fifties.

Hey Rod, im in east brunswick too i live near the recycling center weird huh?
well im just getting into spearfishing... im looking forward to going to deal (i was just surf fishign there and today (6/26/06) and the rocks look awesome. I also look forward to manasquan inlet. Hope to see you around! PS where do you get your equipment from around here?

the dive shop entering lbi on 72 has some gear ..abbiller guns and they told me they just put in a large riffe order

awesome ill have to check that out. Theres a shop around here locally that gave me a pretty nasty attitude after learning I shop online too... o well their loss. Anyone get that from shops around you?
