Everyone has been talking about cabin fever with this sustained blow, but IF the forecast holds true, it looks like a window to get in some spearfishing. The window may have broadened a little, we well. It originally looked like Sunday would be sandwiched between two rough days, but now Saturday, with 2-4s, isn't looking so terrible.

How many of you guys are going to get out? Let's hope that with the downgraded forecast on Saturday, vis won't be quite as bad on Sunday. Hopefully we can get some vis reports by Saturday if anyone makes it out.

Cabin fever it is!

Sunday may be looking even better, marineweather.com shows 2' or less on Sunday, with wind from the east at 10kt.

I wonder how far out you have to go to get 15' of vis?

That'd be good. I want to see those photos!

Were you guys in the Keys when they sank that thing? I hear it's a great dive, but somewhat of a black eye in the less than stellar way it was brought down.

Yes, we were there.

We originally had a weekend planned with a bunch of our cousins at my folks house in Tavernier. The plan was to leave REAL early, fish till noon, then head in and watch the grove sink at the originally scheduled time of 2:00 P.M.

Well, nothing was biting, and then the VHF blew up with the cluster f**k that was going on in Key Largo with the Grove. We pulled in the lines and started heading that way. The picture you see is about one hour after the ship sank.

We had to re build our pallets to fit onto a different type plane......smelt like three day old ass when we got off and didn't want to embarass ourselves....pissed. Got lucky though and John and myslef are pulling a 24 hr shift tomorrow b4 our trip this weekend..how in the hell do I always get sucked into John M.'s details!?:confused: Looks like yall had fun, its probably better this way, I would have hated to have you all mad at me for takin that Kristin and jumpin town!
