What's up with this. Now length is measured by pinching the tails? Is this for all of FLA? State and Fed waters? I'll read some more...

Yup all of FL. Federal or not you will "land" in FL if you leave from and return to.

Lots of people pinched the tails of fish with overall lengths but FWC just wanted to clarify that i was an acceptable way to measure fish that are measured overall.

Pinching tail has been acceptable in europe for years...I'm glad it's finally law here too!! Watch out, ladies!
