Looking for one diver/spearfisher to go offshore in the gulf on Sat. morning. Plan is to go to the Mexican Pride wreck, bottom 120', top 95'. Return in mid-afternoon. Leaving from downtown St. Pete about 7:30am.

Hi Shooter Dan,

In this case it was a one-time offer. My boat works fine on the flats, but that's it. I had a friend, boat full of gas, who wanted to fish the Mexican Pride, I figured I could fish and dive, but wanted a buddy to dive with because of the depth.

And Yes, I'm looking to network with local divers who want to go out and fill the stringer (or at least try).

I live in old NE St. Petersburg, and can usually only get out on the weekends, but would be willing to try some evenings, haven't tried spearfishing at night.

Vis. needs to be better than sat. was, rough when you can't even see the speargun.
