Michael, those are some nice catches and results. :yay: I realize you tried to post this thread earlier and I had to delete it. I hope it will not descend into a personal conflict like before. This is a newsworthy thread in the new Texas section that we are trying to cultivate. Therefore, let's keep this thread clean with the good intentions with which it was started.

Thanks for cleaning up the thread... it started as great posts and sharing of interests to stimulate the sport of spearfishing in our Texas community. Thanks for the initial posts and pics! Now... let's get out and shoot some more fish!

Why was thread cleanup required ??? ....many posts on this board are posted by members who are not happy about what happenned on a trip and they name (screen) names ending up with multi-page heated discussions.
example: http://www.spearboard.com/showthread.php?t=19396
and the members are allowed to excercise "free speech" even if it ain't pretty.
Is it because it was female this time and we don't allow bitchin' by women ?

Ski or somebody please PM me what happened on the other thread.
Big ups to Mike Cryer and his crew of spearo cowboys in the fiesta. That is one huge frikkin AP. I looked forward to meeting Cryer and Baranowski at Waldo's but I guess they couldn't make it.
I guess a lot of people couldn't make it.

Fisherking, It had nothing to do with female or male. The thread was being dragged down by personal attacks, name calling and references to pornographic sites, etc. which are against the Board's policy stated at this link:

Michael, who started the thread, wanted to just start all over, which we helped him do.

Hey Scubaru,
Sorry we couldn't make it to Waldo's. Wasn't sure it was going to happen until the last month, and I have to plan farther out than that. Hope ya'll had a great tournament! We will be supporting the Fishin' Fiesta next year with better prizes, etc. And we will probably shoot Waldo's as well. I look forward to going up against you guys. And gals. My wife will probably also be shooting in both of these tournaments. :p The pompano wasn't in the tournament, but he is a new state record. Good eating, too!
Going to make the Baranowski's hunt the contests, too! JLittle, get ready. You, too!
Happy Hunting!

Maybe you can fit this month's Spear Master Tournament in your schedule, or at least come on down to the weigh in for some cold beer and tales of near death, manno y pescado experiences. This tourny is in it's 2nd year and could use some shooters and support!
