Bouy's now show 2.4' seas with 13.6kts winds and gusts to 15.5kts. Water close in will be like chocolate milk, but get a few miles off shore and it will green up nicely then turn to a nice blue probably somewhere around 6-10 miles out of Port Aransas. I'm not a huge fan of galveston after living around there for 6 years. I'm sure there is a larger following out of there then further south though where I'm at.

You can call Michael Miglini at Out to Sea Adventures. They run out of Port O'Connor which is on Padre Island. Lots of fun to be had down that way. Galveston is great... if you like shopping and history and whatnot. (361) 688-9071 The Orion runs out pretty often. It's a charter boat. May be your best bet on short notice. If you send me a pm I can get you his email addy.

Other than that, maybe someone on the board will need a diver. Keep a lookout and send a pm to intotheblue. He usually runs out of Matagorda. That's about a 2hr drive from Galveston. There isn't much else to do in Matagorda besides fishing and spearing.
