Coming to Kona

Hello all,

I'm coming to Kona with a buddy of mine this week. Leaving Florida on wednesday, arrive Kona on Thursday. I am staying at Ted Roe's house, he has a 6 month rental somewhere, not sure exactly. We'll be there for about ten days, we really were hoping to get out and do some bluewater. I have a buddy here from Kona who suggested a few places to go from shore, but we really want to get offshore and hit the bouys. Are there any charters? Anyone have any suggestions for good places from shore or any advice on how to get out to the FAD's?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, we we're thinkning about renting a boat one day to go out to the FAd's, but there's only two of us and we would much prefer to have two in the water one on the boat. So if anyone is interested in going, send me a PM or give me a call...
