a bit of advice

Im heading down to big pine tonight. Any advice on some good areas to start looking for fish. I was thinking the area were Looe key ends. somewhere around big pine shoal, any pointers as to what the best direction to go from the marker might be.
Id be very greatful.

Go east of the salvager and work the ledge which follows back towards the wreck- last time we were there we drifted along where the ledge meets the sand and there were alot of big Grouper- I guess we were about in 80-85'

The Salvager is a little far west of Big Pine, pretty much Key West. But it can be productive under good vis. Most of the fish down here on the dove wrecks are well trained. Look for them to bug out quick. Try the Adolphuos Bush for something closer to Big Pine.
