OK JOSH I BELIEVE YOU 100% ABOUT THE SHARKS IN THE GULF!!!! We started our day earlier than usual, about 5:00 am with the intention of diving the culling shrimp boats (THANK YOU SHARK SHIELD), The first shrimp boat has nothing on it except a TIGER SHARK between 8-10 feet (as soon as we saw it it was off to another boat). The second boat had lots of inquisitive dolphin and shrimpers willing to cull for some fresh fish for ceviche, BIG MISTAKE, as soon as they droped the first bucket we saw a school of about 25-30 dolphin, I thought hey dolphin are followed by TUNA,(WAS I WRONG) WHAT FOLLOWED NEXT WAS A SCHOOL OF ABOUT 20+ SHARKS, 3 DIFFRENT KINDS BULLS, ONE TIGER, AND THINK THE TWITCHY ONES WHERE SILKIES.At that moment there was no other person more important in the world than Don Moore, I stuck by him like if he was my girlfriend at a bar(he was wearing the shark shield), next came the loudest scream that I HAVE EVER YELLED OFFHORE, COME PICK US UP HURRY!!!!! The boat felt like it came around in about 5 minutes, probably like 30 seconds, and we where off to the rigs. We attempted to find the 9 fathom rocks with no luck and moved on to a rig, we started chumming and found nice size kings and ling in the slick, Don had a good shot and missed a king, we ended the day with a couple of nice snapper, two ling, and some sheep head. We did however capture some nice underwater pics...Don's wong as you can see on the pics was dialed in, the shot on the cobia came after the missed shot on a king, I was reloading and it and it swam by, loaded one band, loaded second band, secured slip tip, fish still there, as soon as I DOVE IT SPOOKED, I dis something I tried with wahoo earlier in the year and swam away from it, it followed my fins and swam next to me, here is the pic of what happened next....

It was fun, but I'm glad I stayed on the boat at the shrimp boats!

Nice pics. Cesar. I wouldn't stay too close to Don's shark shield - he shocked the chit out of me once. Look forward to hunting with you guys soon. David will be a dad tomorrow.
