In all honesty, I have a hard time getting excited about any candidate or any party right now. Yes, I voted. I was there first thing this morning. But all I've seen is a bunch of mud-slinging and bought-and-paid-for polititions; none of which I trust worth a damn. Sorry for the cynical outlook, but that's just the way I feel about it.

I can't stand it when I get home, the phone rings and it's a pre-taped political message. That happened the other day, and I friggin hate it as much as a telemarketer. Even more.

Do what I did. I only have a cell phone. No landline. I get zero telemarketer calls!!

I went my usual Republican for Guv and legislature, but will admit I for the first time ever voted Demoncrat for Attorney General and Ag commisioner. The Republicans really pissed me off by screwing over Mary Barley for Ag in the primaries. She scared the everloving crap out of big Ag because she actually gives a crap about the environment and would probably try and make them pay for the mess they make. I am like Scott in that I don't think that any of them are worth a bucket of grouper guts. Its a shame that you have to vote for the guy you think will **** things up the least. The stupidity of the average voter was clearly shown now that we actually have a constitutional amendment about pregnant pigs.

Couldn't agree more. How in the hell was Charlie Crist elected Attorney General? This guy has more ethical violations than you could shake a stick at, and it took the moron THREE TRIES to pass the Florida Bar examination. That's our attorney general?? What, do the chicks dig his tan or something? I voted for Dyer as well. I try to look at each individual candidate. I voted for some Republicans and some Democrats.

Here's another one that I can not pretend to understand, and led me to vote for a Democrat. Repblican Browne-Waite had totally breached the public's trust in the State house by accepting some $70,000.00 from HMOs and other special interest groups, AND THEN VOTED ON LEGISLATION FAVORABLE TO SAID COMPANIES! Furthermore, her own husband has been charged with stealing the yard signs of her competitor, Karen Thurman. She won! She's going to Washington, as my representative! GMAFB!

Sorry. I needed that rant. I'm all better now.

One other thing that really cracks me up. Have you seen any of the winners "congratulate" their opponent? Man, stand-up comedy has nothing on this. Here is a guy who has called his opponent "incompetent, dishonest, lying bucket of sleaze, on-the-take slacker," and then after the victory, says, "I'd like to congratulate my opponent who is a classy all around guy and put on a great, hard-fought campaign." LMAO!
