went out this morning 09/07 around 9:30 in the am the visablity was freaky good 25 ft, LOL i know that still sucks but for here thats awsome. the north jettie really sucked, not a thing to kill just pretty LITTLE fish lively darting to and fro, Yeah it was lame. swam to the south jettie and that was a whole other world, 15 inch sheephead, and a TON of red fish all of them were at least 25 + that were schooling at the end of the jettie. about 50 yds out from the end of the jettie there were some freaking huge snook, not a few; but a boat load. There were also lots of mangroves. A few small sharks and that was it. after a few hours the boats started sculling up the bottom but even than it still wasnt to bad. Im going out first thing in the morning (friday) with my scuba gear and gun , I will leave ya;ll a report for the weekend when i get home

Concerning those pretty LITTLE fish, as Daryl Wong likes to say, it takes skill to shoot a little fish! Cesar sucessfully shot this one Monday on the first rigs out of packery. :toast:

There were plenty of 8-11'ers out there that we left in a hurry! I saw lost one MONSTER cobia and another smaller one as well. I REALLY was suprised how many of them we saw out there. On the packery idea, I think I might hit the south jetty at my new secret spot and see if I can land some of those 4' snook!

Bada$$ fish man. Are the 8-11'ers measured in ounces?

Just kidding. Good report guys.
