okay, after diving the pack twice a day for the past 5 days heres the scoop
NORTH JETTIE.... (outside) theres nothing really until you get to the middle, it drops to about 16 feet and theres tons of speck trout and snook and a few small and med mangroves as you move closer to the end of the jettie the snook get bigger and so do the sheephead if you move away and out of the rocks over the sand you can bag some flounder. once your at the end of the jettie at the 11:00 position 75 yard out is a sand bar with a ton of reds hanging out.
NORTH JETTIE (channel) start in the middle and move towards the end. bottom of the channel is 14 feet, start from the bottom(if your on scuba :thumps: ) and work your way up stopping to hang out after a few minutes the snappers come out of the crevices and start begging to be shot
SOUTH JETTIE (outside) lots of action up close to the beach, lots of whiting and some big snapper in the rocks, took 3 nice ones in only 5 feet of water. The outside is good all the way to the end with more and bigger sheeps and snapper than the north.
SOUTH JETTIE (channel) Start from the middle and work to the end.
if the tide is incoming you will see lots of snapper and sheep in the rocks, if the tide is out going the viz drops to a few feet but the snook are all over the place and the reds are too.
NOW GO OUT AND KILL SOMETHING DAMNIT :thumps:

Looks like it might be a little choppy thsi weekend so I am not sure if I will run my boat offshore. So I might just look at the tide so see what the best time would be to run down to try the Packery Jetty out.
