The Date will be the 21st of October and the rain date will be the following Saturday if needed.

Gulf Divers and Spearfishing Specialities will be giving a 48" Sea Hornet Magnum (speargun) for the Master Spearfisher at the October Shoot Out. Oct. 21st . Must be present at the weigh in to win.

There was a good core turnout for the October Shoutout tonight at the Bluegill
Restaurant on the causeway. We enjoyed some good company and got our good
lookin' t-shirts, compliments of sponsors, Gary Emerson and Steve Turner.

For those of you that gave me you email address tonight, you are now on the
official Alabama Spearfishing Association mailing list.

It was good seeing you all tonight and I want to commend the ladies for putting
together such an impressive team (Guns & Roses). Welcome!

So far we have 17 competitors but I'm looking to pick up some stragglers by Friday, so talk it up.

There are some teams out there that could not make the meeting tonight... to
those, I say "We need you". Let's get those entries in. I'll even give you
your money back in case of bad weather. That's a "bad weather money back
