Kentucky Lake

I am interested to know if anyone has any experience diving or spearing Kentucky Lake. I want to try spearing some flatheads in November.

You might get good enough vis in the winter to spear. During the summer; you cant see to the end of your gun!

I duck hunt alot on KY. from Thanksgiving till the end of January and a few of the mussel divers I talk to report good vis in the winter...(10-20ft)

I tried snorkeling around the vegataition in August at night and could only see a few feet.

I do have a few friends who set out 55 gal barrels as fish attractors and went back and "hogged" some big flatheads during the spawn.

You might consider Dale Hollow or some of the Arkansas lakes.

The grass has continued to grow and the lake is low. I was surprised at the vis while out building blinds on Sunday. Main lake had a few feet if you were close to the grass.
