I think the wind is going to die down on Sunday. It may be the better day to dive. Do any of you guys know how the vis has been lately with all this weird wheater? I will try to go out this weekend.

Divinfool the weather forecast is improving each day. They are calling for 2-3 with 10 knot wind. Most likely it will be less than 2 foot with a little surge and yes bugs included. You leaving out of Ponce or CP. Also need to agree on a meet time/place and we can follow the SO rules and scoring....we can see how we would have stacked up.
George

Where to meet ? Drive over Friday night and stay with Dave or me
What time ? Very early 4 am at my house
How many tanks ? 4 tanks
What's the water temp there ? 81 on the bottom
Do you bring any line gear? Don't freeshaft this side unless your using a powerhead
Who's got the ice ? Morning stop at Wal-Mart we will pick up ice and drinks
Besides my bug stuff do I need any thing I do not over here ? a bigger fillet knife and stinger
What the deepest dive of the day so I can get my mix right? bring a 26, 38, 36, and 36 for PO2- 1.4.
or
27, 37, 37, 40 for P02-1.6

Whos got the hooters girls in t-backs...I think Divinfool is handling that.

Since hook and line doesn't count for the Ponce Southern Open I think I'll leave my fishing gear at home unless I hear otherwise.

I'm looking forward to some friendly competition and brews afterwards. :D

Cheers

Got your message Seastalker...you got mail. Hopefully the seas will keep improving.
Buddies went on Tuesday and said the current was nill and no surge. Vis was good until the afternoon...some of the green algae floating. They shot a few fish but nothing to brag about. Water temp is starting to drop, but just a few degrees.

Looks like the forecast has changed a little...3-4 on Sun. If it doesn't get any worse , I'll be slingin steel, and snatchin bugs on Sun. Anyone else going out of Ponce on Sun?? I've got to try out this new powerhead, before taking it to the MG...

I'll be out there. I have a buddy going tomorrow on the wrecks, so I will wait to hear from him as to whether it will be wrecks or reef. The past two weeks have been pretty good. I stand by on 82, gimme a call and good luck.
