Ok, so I have posted a lot of posts that were anti-bush. I still don't like him and his policies but I can live with the fact that there are more checks and balances now.

Now that the election is over and we are stuck with what we are stuck with I think it's time for the war of ideologies to come to an end. Both democrats and republicans want what is best for this country. Unfortuantely both parties polarize issues to keep people either democrats or republicans even though I would be willing to bet there is very little difference in our views. A majority of the country is moderate. Hopefully we can all try to find middle ground. I will be the first to extend the olive branch to my republican brothers.

Sounds like its time for beer Don. :beer: The best part of all of this election stuff is that the dems have to extinguish the blame throwers and answer for their actions. I will be willing to bet that the Republicans wont cry half as much as the dems have for the past 6 years.....its Bush's fault. We joke about it down here to the point of when I get a nail in my tire from some Katrina debris it IS BUSH'S fault. :D Oh well time to move on......lets get this ball rolling and see where it goes.

My phone won't be ringing so much, my mailbox will have less crap in it, the TV will only be trying to sell me stuff . . . yeah, break out the beer and let's get back to something more civilized. For those of you in the rest of the nation, the Left Coast split it's ticket. Maybe good sense is coming in with the rainy season.
