I almost got to the 15 foot vis this morning, i went out about 4 pm and found 8 maybe 10 foot viz at most. I got one schoolie snapper and a sheephead that happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, (on my way out of the water only pulling the trigger once the entire day). Gentlemen 2 feet or less predicted for this Sat, should we try to find a charter or something.Scottie, Buggy, David,Donnie let me know what you want or can do this weekend, I'm in...Los mentirosos, are you going out by any chance, any room on your boat?

Cesar I'm off all next week so anytime next week is great for me. I was hoping maybe to get some time this week to jump the jetties, but the wind picked up to about 40mph last night and is gusting hard now. I'm game for any charter I can afford ($150ish) I hear the Wahoo and others are coming in. I still haven't even gotten my gulf mag in the water yet!

The forecaust for Saturday is now up to 3'.When I saw 2' yesterday and Monday I had my hopes up.

I can't make it this weekend as I am writing a big check to Daryl tomorrow, and my dive fund will be nonexistent.

I sure would like to get out Saturday, if it is 2 to 3 foot. NOAA still shows that for Saturday. I am already tied up for Sunday. I do wonder about the viz though. Snapper season is closed in Fed. waters. Do you think it's worth trying inside of 9 miles or just shoot something else instead ? I don' know if all of my regular group can make it or not so I may have 1 or 2 open spots. I will post again as soon as I hear back from the group.

Bug and Cesar, looks like you guys will fit if ya'll are interested. We will leave from Marker 37 about 6:00 am. Saturday morning (11/18/06). So far I have 3 including myself. Still wondering about where to go. We have been going out about 28 miles to a couple rigs. Snapper is over in Federal waters, is it worth trying inside of 9 miles? What do you think the viz. will be like?

If the wind lays down it shouldn't be TOO bad, but not great as well. I'm down for Cobia and Cuda hunting. Wahoo could also be a possiblity as the water cools or if we're lucky we might be able to find some Mahi.

Alright I'm eating the last of my Ling for dinner and bringing some Ceviche for tomarrow. Hopefully we can restock the fridge for the winter. See you tomorrow!
