I concur.

Internet gold is correct, sir.

I can do the same thing with electronics, whereby I wave my hands at them and they quit acting up. Sadly, its because I'm Asian, not because of some godly power vested in me.

The only thing I havent figured out with Benny Hinn, is why someone hasn't cold cocked the f*ck out of him for knocking them down. That dude is EXACTLY the type of person who is tarnishing the image of Christianity.

im not to judge, but the guy makes me nervous..........makes me think of the good book's mat. 7: 21-23 " not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?" Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

Ya, what do you guys think about this guy. I've heard from one of my pastors that he has taken massive amounts of money from the donations to his "foundation" and spent the money on himself.

Religion is all about the dollar.People speak of the "good book" because it was written by a man that wants to feel safe, like we all do.
I just can't stomach a shopping mall size church a block away from a Loaves and Fishes building that is about to collapse on the homeless and cooks that are there to help out for free.

:yup: If the soup kitchen is going under because they can't get enough funding to stay open and the church down the street is building a new multimillion dollar worship complex, then IMO that church is a flaming crock 'o shart. That soup kitchen/homeless shelter could run for years if that church took the same building fund and made a simple tilt-up concrete building to suit their needs and invested the rest in the needy.

Thats one of the big things that turned me off of organized religion. The Catholic church was planning on building something like a $200 million dollar cathedral for the archdiocese of LA. Even if they only took 1% of that and put it towards the needy, it would still be $2 million for the people that their doctrine says they are supposed to serve.

benny hin is scarey and he has a huge following in south America. People like him do more harm to the Christain cause than an atheist ever could.
