We launched from Dana around 330 sunday afternoon. Saw SASK and his G-friend on this HUGE speed boat, and waved goodbye.
We made it out to San Clemente Kelp Beds and found 20 mph winds and 4 foot wind swells that were kicking our butts! The water was 71.5, nice and toasty with visability about 8 foot, at best.
After my 30 minute freedive, another boat pulled up close to talk and be friendly(I had my 2 sister in laws on board) they had 3 nice yellow tails from South San Clemente Kelps.
They gave me the GPS #'s, so when the vis picks up, we will go get some good tail action.(hopefully)
