Cressi 2000 & 3000 Special Ends soon!

Hi All,
We have just received the 2007 Cressi Price Guide List.
They have changed the status of the Cressi 2000 & 3000 Longfins w.r.t advertised prices.
They have now reverted back to being a "protected species".

As from the beginning of 2007 we will no longer be able to advertise the Cressi 2000 & 3000 at the $99 level.
So the advertised price will revert back to $139.50

Are you still going to have them at the $99 dollar price? I understand that MAP will be at 139.50, but what if we are willing to call?

Hi All,
To stay compliant with the manufacturers ruling I understand it to be that any forward indication to the customer of a discounted price, is construed to be "advertising".

In that light we would certainly not tell a customer, over the phone, that he will get a "discounted price" for the Cressi 2000 & 3000.

I value my Cressi Dealership too highly to get anywhere near breaking their MAP rules.

OTOH Cressi does not have a MAP on the Comanche and Star pneumatic Guns and Florida Freedivers will, I hear, be advertising a new year special on them :>)
