Hell yeah it's worth it! Check out helldivers.org and look at their pictures. I am taking my first charter trip next month with Xtreme fishing charters of Venice La. they have a website. Just google it.

What you should do is come in September 20th to watch your beloved Bulldawgs get spanked by the Tigers, then hit the rigs on Sunday.

What specific questions do you have about freeviving the rigs? Yes it is worth it. There are over 4000 rigs from Alabama to Texas. What types of fish do you plan to target? You choices range from red snapper and amberjack to tuna and wahoo. Here are some nice african pompano we shot freediving a rig in 150 feet of water. They were cruising between 90 and 110.

I am the deckhand on the Amberjack. This was actually my bachelor party trip.

nice pomps...I still wish we could spear 'em here in FL. Rig diving is definitely worth it (unless "IT" is your life of course), there is some seriously big fish waiting to be impaled out there.
