I've recently sold my 20ft center con boat and want to move up to a boat with more deck space. The C Hawk 25ft pilot looks like a very workable hull.
I want to move to a cuddy or any style that gets you out of the weather
when needed. I do not necesarily want to overnight the boat. Especially now that the Bahamas have enacted the new regulations.
My real question is -- does anyone use their pilot style boat on the east coast where the runs are 50-70miles round trip? How does it handle 4ft@6sec. What economy, I'm looking for 2mpg. Any first hand info appreciated

There are a couple of threads on here that cover the C-Hawks pretty good. I've owned both the 25Cabin and now have a 29Cabin. There is a pretty good deal on www.boattrader.com on a 26ft Cuddy here in NC. Just do a search for C-Hawk under manufacturers.
