Mike shot this Ten pound Grunt on 8-10-03 at the Swing Span in Marathon. Certified weight. How can I find out if this is a record?

Thats an average Margate! Nice fish but no record. Sorry, but they are ok to eat,you don't have to use them for shark bait.

my brother who just started spearfishing while we were in the keys this summer must of speared like 10 of those thinking there good snappers, basically we used them as shark bait at the bridges to toy around with some huge nurses...
