Ahhhhhh hell, I just read a report from the Register and online, that a big Great White and 2 little pups was spotted off San Onofre, just 300 yards off the beach, then spotted again 2 miles off the Domes. This is not good for us hunters, especially in the dark green murky water. Maybe we all need to invest in some power heads for our guns. Can I tell you how I hate to see sharks while im hunting. I might have to feed Mr. Teeth a .357, then clean out my wetsuit.

The shark is good for our waters, but bad for us hunters. Can't we all just getalong?

I don't know much about powerheads, but it sounds like a dicey proposition if there are other people in the water with the piss poor visibility we've been having.

Kyle, where did you read this? Would you post the source? I've been hearing about this all evening, and can't seem to find any reference to it.
Damn! As a roughwater swimmer in San Diego, I don't like this. Oh well, comes with the turf.

Powerheads dont work on great whites! Out here, by the time you see the shark you're already in his mouth:eek: You might as well stick your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye!

I just tried to do that, but I just got poked in the eye.

For some reason the Great Whites have been around a lot this year! I have seen 2 already in catalina this year, one 19ft and another 14ft, which was munching on a harbor seal.
And my surfer freinds tell me they have seen a few in the 6-10 ft range.

I wonder why this year had produced so many sightings.

Guys why wouldn't you think a PH wouldn't kill a great white, I'm certain it will, I also don't think I would need more than a .357, after all, it is mostly the gassing/shock that kills the fish cheers! zeN
