It's 40" wide and 42" front to rear. My hull is 8'6" wide.
One of these , holding 12 tanks with 4 at seat level set up and ready to dive, would fit behind the helm on most 8'6" wide cc boats unless the console is far astern.
I would like to build one to use on a 10' beam hull.
It would be 60" wide by 42" long, seat 4 people, hold 6 set-up's ready to go and hold 18 tanks amidship! No dive junk on the deck.

sorry for jacking the thread but iam about 4 tanks away from SOLD.

Gene I love the idea of that tank rack in the middle...Can you take a couple more pictures of it from a few different angles? We are looking at a new boat and trying to come up with some ideas for tanks and that one looks sweet...That would be great...Thanks

Boat runs about 30 in 3' seas. Stable ride, no slamming or banging and doesn't try to track away on any beam seas. Rides almost as soft into a head sea as a quartering. I can run the same speed in 4' seas but usually have to slow to 22-24 to keep from going airborne when running into a head sea.. Going off the high side results in the stern setting down first and then the bow comes down with a "woosh' and it might sneeze on you some.
No side to side movement like on a deep v. Not tender at idle or anchor. No body ever gets motion sick.
The 140hp four strokes can burn 16gph at cruise speed of 27 knots at 4800 rpm.
Boat could be used a a 6 pack dive boat as it has a lot of deck space. It's better with 4 divers if we get weather because everyone can get behind the wind shield and out of the rain.
I wish I could run 40 but speed costs fuel. On the marginal weather days we seem to pass a lot of bigger cc boats with 400 plus horsepower on their sterns. They sure don't look like they're having much fun.
