Australia is one of my favorite places to travel and that is why I've made sure i spent as much time there over the past 6 years as I possibly could. The opportunities for diving are endless and the divers that are there are as inviting and willing to help you out as you could ever imagine. My experience there has taken me from the Coral Sea to Woollongong and everywhere in between. I've seen Marlin, wahoo, three types of Tuna, Dolphin, giant Mulloway, Groupers, Emperors, Giant Napolean Wrasse, more colorful lobster than you could ever imagine and squid big enough you'd think twice about getting in the water.
For anyone wanting to head to Australia or Aussies wanting to head to America, please don't hesitate to call or write. The comraderie on this board is excellent and I'd like to see us extend a welcome to any of our friends on either continent to get them in the water if and when they finally get to come and visit.
The sponsor of this Forum ADRENALINE SPEARFISHING SUPPLIES is the best spearfishing store I have seen anywhere in the World. The guys working there have helped me land some of the best fish and plan some of my best trips around the world. I owe the Aussies a lot, but that doesn't mean I'll heistate to post pictures of their fish that I have killed.
Anyone who has pictures of Fish killed in the opposite country post them here to get the blood flowing. That is of course if the technology in Australia has reached the point where they have computers?

These are just some of the many types that are in Oz.
This is an Australian Jewfish or Mulloway. We came back to this spot the next week and found the same school of Fish and shot a pair of 45 lb ones and then hiked out 3 miles in the raging sun. It was one of the coolest dives I've ever done. The shore diving in Australia is the best I have seen anywhere in the world. Once you spend some time in the water there and figure the place out you can almost always come home with dinner after a short shore dive and the potential to shoot a 50-100 lb fish is always there with big Jewies, Cobia, Yellowtail Kingies, and even marlin just offshore.

Cam, Arent those pics like 3yrs old....???
Come on man, you;re not the man you used to be, admit it to yourself!!
HAHAH, anyways......I get off the ship on June 27 in hawaii.
Where/what are we doing?
Micronesia, MATT GET yer A$$ in gear and come with us.
I need to slay some big fish in warm clear water.

Dont get me wrong shooting 3lb rockfish, and dodging white pointers in 10ft vis and 50deg water, is a lot of fun, but I'm just looking for something a little less demanding.
I've already bent 3 shafts on my tuna gun up here shooting lings out of season.
