Spare Shaft Holder for Riffe

I figured out a way to attach an extra shaft to a Riffe, I use this gun as a free shaft gun and now I can carry a spare shaft.

I haven't tried it out in the water yet, I don't know how well it will balance with the extra shaft, but it should be ok because it runs almost the length of the barrel.

The best part about this set up is,

1 it was cheap and easy to build.

2 it holds the shaft securely.

3 I didn't have to drill any holes in my Riffe.

4 it is easily switched back to original configuration.

after I figured out how I was going to hold the shaft in it took less than 5 minutes, and it was from left over parts in my garage.

Nice innovative work. Please let us know how it performs for you. I have a midhandle though so the spare shaft would probably forward weight my gun.
