I am thinking abouit buying one of these, Oceanic's web site says they are NITROX to 50% this guy on ebay says they are not. I believe there two of the computers DATA TRANS & DATA TRANS PLUS. anybody own one of these that can answer my question. or should I just skip the Oceanic and go strait to the VYTEC. not buying off ebay just looking around. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3625460657&category=1300

The Plus is nitrox (Green Buttons), the regular datatrans is not nitrox(Blue buttons).

I Bought one a while back then switched to the vytec. I liked the computer but wanted gas switching.

This is the one i sold.

My buddy on my boat won one of the datatrans+ in the st. pete open. He hasn't used it and wants to sell it. If you are interested, let me know before you see it on ebay.

I have an Oceanic Datatrans Plus computer I bought off of Ebay for $360. Charleston is right, The Datatrans is not nitrox compatable. The Datatrans Plus is nitrox compatable. I love my computer as the displays are about the largest in the market and it is very easy to use. Furthermore, the user replaceable batteries are a definite good thing. Never had a problem with it.

Keep in mind that The Datatrans Plus and Datatrans computers are no longer manufactured by Oceanic. I did speak with a rep. about this and he said that they would maintain parts for these computers for the next 5 years. Let me know if you have any other questions.
