The only thing wrong with this story is that the first line is false it reads:

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich was having an extramarital affair even as he led the charge against President Clinton over the Monica Lewinsky affair, he acknowledged in an interview with a conservative Christian group.

And here's the right way to report the story:

"Newt Gingrich was having an affair at the very same time he was investigating weather or not Bill Clinton had committed perjury and obstructed justice."

I'm not quite sure what you meant.

I think its interesting that polls indicate that Guiliani is the solid front-runner for the nomination of the party of superior morality. His first wife was his second cousin. He publicly humiliated his second wife by appearing in public while Mayor with the woman who would later become his third wife. After he separated from his second wife, he moved in with a couple of gay guys.

And then of course there is the fact that he is pro-abortion, pro-gay rights, and pro-gun control.

To be fair, maybe the GOP social conservatives just don't read the papers much and all they know about him is that he is the hero of 9/11. Maybe they will turn against him when his record gets more scrutiny. Of course if they get all their news from the Drudge report, they may never hear that stuff.
