With the deck in such poor condition, you should really look at that transom.
More than likely, you'll need to add that to your list.
You may want to carve out all of that saturated foam and inspect that tank.
That is unless the tank has been replaced. In that case, I'd limit the amount of foam, it'll just wick up water and add weight to the boat.
Good luck.

Thanks Jason, the transom is soled I’m burring out the holes were the engines were mounted to refill (glass past). The Gas tank!! I'm not 100% sold on the gas tank because it is made of fiber glass, some people tell me that, that is the best, and some tell me the new additives in the gas will gum the tank. So I have a lot of???!!!??? . But the tank was replaced when the Redo started and from all the receipts that I have from privies owner, my best guess is that it started back in 2002 after all the deck compartment were redone and are all soled. The tank was put in and foamed (all hose connection don) the foam below deck looks good not to flaky and very soled.
Thanks for the comments and suggestion please keep them coming.

Looks like your off to a good start. I'll urge you again to consider replacing the transom. With a deck that looks like that, I'd be almost sure that it is not as solid as you think. If you are planning on twins, I would not go further without a new transom even if they are going on a bracket.
Just my opinion.
If you do the transom from the inside, it's really not that bad at all.
With the deck off, can you see where the stringers tie into the transom?
If you have access, and you choose not to redo the transom, I would at least install some knees up the transom to add more structural support for the motors.
ClassicSeacraft.com or classicmako.com has many threads that can help you.

I thought this one was dry and solid. I bet I drilled a 100 holes in it, and never saw a wet spot.
Glad I opened it up to take a peek, may surprise you.

Do we all have basically the same problems, over and over…. with all these old boats there isn't one that has a good transom and deck (or one or the other but never both).
I know what you are telling me about the transom, I think this model (AquaSport).
From what I can see the transom is about ¾ of glass/mat and in some spots it has big pieces of Plywood just glassed in/mat, it’s the first time I see something like this. I'm going to try to get some pix of it (to show).

No it did not rain out in Fl city that day, but I was warred because we had just finish cutting the hatches and not yet glass the exposed wood, but it looks let rain to day so I will be putting the boat in cover to day, tell it’s completed.
Killer thanks. I can’t wait tell I have it ready to put on the water.

Not to be a bad egg, but I have an aquasport 25, you might consider raising the transom a bit... in seas, you'll be surprised at how much water spills over the back. I cut 1/4" starboard into sections that fit the corners, and tuck under the steering arm of the motor (single 225). Made a HUGE difference... no more water splashing up to the helm!! Just an idea, hope it helps...

Yes dive4bugz I was concerned about that.
I found some parts of the transom in the previous owners warehouse that fit around the back part of the transom in front of the engine. (single 225hp), I hope that will keep the water out of the cockpit.

Hey Deleo, do what I did... contact Marathon Co customer service, ask them to find you an e-free station in your local area. Give them the zip code, and ask them to check in a 10-15-mile radius. Thats how I found a station that I drive by all the time!! And its almost .80 cheaper per gal than the fuel dock!! Worth the effort, and much cheaper than ripping up those pretty new decks you just finished!!
