View Full Version : Sorry Everybody
http://www.sorryeverybody.com/gallery/1/
Most people who think carefully understand that Americans are not really any more jingoistic or xenophobic than people in other countries, but it never hurts to reinforce, especially considering what happened on November 2nd, 2004. What must it have looked like to the world outside our borders? America proudly re-appointed its reckless, incompetent and corrupt government. How much of America? Fifty-two percent. The rest of us are aghast and dismayed.
Lots of fuss is made about the “global village.” The Internet was supposed to make communication between cultures, countries and peoples painless and easy. It was supposed to build bridges. But it doesn't do this automatically; somebody has to reach out. The Internet was supposed to lead to education and understanding. It doesn't. Rarely do people on the internet apologize. I thought it was high time. The world needs to understand that there are people in America who don't like what our government is doing. And from the mail we're receiving, there are people in the international community who appreciate this.
Also, come on, it's kind of amusing.

Jeez, ... I am not a Republican, not even a conservative, and I didn't vote for Bush, but ... this is the most pathetic thing I've seen in a looooooong time! Even the faces are pathetic. Give me a break!

That jack-ass should be court-martialed (sp). If you have an opinion, fine.
But don't do it in (any) uniform. Especially Marine Dress Blues!!

Let's see, a good conduct medal, a national defense service medal (sarcastically aka as the "firewatch" ribbon) and a sea service deployment ribbon - meaningn he may have deployed on a ship but he never entered hostile territory. It would appear, despite his sign, this guy's never been near Iraq. Of course, SHE might be the Iraw vet and just out of uniform.
Funny, the Air Force (paragons of iron discipline) just threw a female DI out for appear naked in Playboy. They also showed her in uniform at work so I guess that was service discrediting. I hope ID this idiot. He can then exercise his free speech all he wants out of uniform.

Did you see the pictures of her? She is so hot. Rock 101.1 had her on the radio a month ago for an interview, she sounded so sexy I nearly got into a car accident from my hard-on locking the steering wheel like the club anti-theft bar.

:loser: They should take their "sorry" asses to live in a 3rd world country with no freedom to do just about anything. The Marine needs a hair cut and a kick in the nuts. The last time I checked no body is making them stay in my country.

Last time they checked they thought it was their country too.
They don't want to move to a 3rd world country because they value their right to express their opinion and change their country for the better.
One of my naive reasons for spending 20 years in the Corps was to protect their right to express their opinions.
Your user name causes me to guess that you might have spent time in the Corps. If so, were you fighting to attain a society in which your opinion was the only one tolerated?

Bill
I'm still in, I was just thinking that the ones in the military took an oath that binds them to following orders, I'm pretty sure the devil dog there could catch some heat for what he is doing while in uniform. You did 20 years, and i am currently at 18 1/2 years of service to make sure they have the right to do what they are doing, I served through the Clinton fiasco but I as a Marine kept my opinions and views to myself.
They are in the military and should conduct themselves as such. Sorry if I offended anyone ***Semper Fi*** Bill

How do we really know that those soldiers were holding those signs? That would make for an easy photoshop.

I served during the Reagan fiasco, I thought that kook was going to start
a nuclear holocaust and every base was a nuclear potential target. Could
not wait to get out but I would never have done a photo shot like that.
Reminds me of all the long hair hippy fags of my generation.

if those are real pictures and not photoshopped, then shame on them. freedom of speech is one thing, but anti-patriotic statements while wearinng a uniform represeting our country thats uncalled for

Everybody is entitled to their opinions, but I'll be damned if they do it in uniform, that jarhead ought to be ashamed of himself and his actions displayed here.

Bill
the ones in the military took an oath
Which USED to mean something.... Now, it simply means "I'll take the oath until I dont agree, then you can shove my oath up your ass"...
But I'm sure Bill will argue the "freedom of choice and speech" issue on that...
