Late Season diving

What's the latest in the year that you guys have dove? What kind of wet suit do you need for the fall and winter? When does the hammerhead migration start? What kind of fish can be shot in the late months? How badly will LSU beat Georgia?

Im thinking of planning a trip for later in the year but am not sure if it's worth it, and what kind of gear i will need.

Any input is appreciated.

we do alot of freediving in the winter for tuna/wahoo in the area of the lumps. As for rig diving it can still be good but no take on snapper hurts the desire level....and for some reason I have no luck finding AJ's in the winter???? The biggest thing is all of the cold fronts. In any given week you will probably get 1 possibly 2 days of fishable weather.

When I was full time commercial shootin, our best season was December 1st to April 1st.
